Heartburn (GERD) tutorials
Heartburn is referred to by Healthcare Professionals as GERD (Gastroesophageal reflux disease).
GERD is a recurrent condition where gastric juices, containing acid, travel back from the stomach into the gullet (the swallowing pipe called the oesophagus). This tutorial explains the causes, the symptoms, treatments available and medications.
